In a recent N. Y. Times op-ed piece, Paul Krugman lays out the math that proves more stimulus is needed to get the economy out of its freefall.
According to Krugman, the U. S. economy is 8.5 million jobs in the red since 100k new jobs are needed to stay even with a growing population and 6.5 million jobs have been lost since the recession began.
